A tribute to the origin, craftsmanship, and legacy of Macharnudo, born in the vineyards of the historic “Pago Superior” of Jerez.

Jerez de la Frontera, June 1, 2026

Harveys presents at Vinoble the launch of Torre de Macharnudo by Harveys, its most exclusive premium range, made from the vineyards of the “Pago Superior” in Jerez. The presentation took place on May 31, 2026, within the framework of Vinoble, the International Salon of Noble, Generous and Liqueur Wines.

With Torre de Macharnudo, Harveys expands its premium universe with a proposal that seeks to express the origin with a current perspective: a tribute to heritage, craftsmanship, and terroir, where every detail counts. The inspiration for the range comes from a symbol deeply linked to the landscape of Jerez: the 12th-century watchtower of Macharnudo, a historical reference that connects territory and memory, and today becomes a brand story and experience in a glass.

“Torre de Macharnudo represents our commitment to continue elevating the category of Jerez wines through proposals that value the origin, authenticity, and time. This range is born to connect with consumers who seek unique experiences and understand that true luxury lies in what cannot be replicated: a place, a story, and a know-how transmitted over generations,” says Ángel Piña, General Manager of Grupo Emperador International Brands.

The commitment to quality and origin of Torre de Macharnudo by Harveys has been recognized by some of the most prestigious international competitions in the sector. The range has recently obtained a Gran Bacchus de Oro 2026 for Torre de Macharnudo Palo Cortado, as well as gold medals for references from the range such as Amontillado, Fino, and Oloroso. These recognitions endorse the oenological excellence of the project and consolidate Torre de Macharnudo as one of the most outstanding premium proposals of the Marco de Jerez.

Under the idea “Luxury is in the details”, Torre de Macharnudo by Harveys claims that the extraordinary is not always in the grandiose, but in the sum of small and precise decisions: the origin, the rhythm of time, the care of the craft, and the coherence of the whole. The range is born with the vocation to become a new premium icon of Jerez wines in Spain, maintaining the focus on what makes the Marco unique: its identity, its living tradition, and its ability to continue inspiring.

A launch in the natural setting of unique wines, the choice of Vinoble for this premiere reinforces the sense of the project: to present Torre de Macharnudo at the meeting point where the sector and lovers of wines with character gather to discover proposals born from origin and knowledge. In this context, Harveys proposes a launch that emphasizes the territory and conscious enjoyment, inviting you to approach Macharnudo from a contemporary perspective.

A brand built from the origin.

The launch is supported by a clear and evocative narrative, which accompanies the experience from the place to the glass, and a communication focused on the tower, the terroir and the craftsmanship. In line with this vision, the brand activation contemplates contents that highlight the history and excellence, with a special focus on social channels.

About Grupo Emperador International Brands

Grupo Emperador International Brands is the evolution of a clear model: to control the entire value chain to build strong brands on a global scale. We are part of Emperador Inc., the world leader in brandy, producers of the best-selling Sherry brand in the world; and, the fifth global producer of scotch whisky through Whyte & Mackay. Our leadership is based on a model of vertical integration that spans from origin to distribution, ensuring control, consistency and international growth capacity.

In Spain, we own historical assets of reference in the Marco de Jerez, with Bodegas Fundador as the central axis: the oldest winery in Jerez, own vineyards in Torre de Macharnudo and the largest park of boots in the region. This unique heritage brings to life a portfolio of iconic brands such as Fundador, Terry and Espléndido, as well as the best-selling sherry in the world, Harveys Bristol Cream.

About Bodegas Fundador

The history of Bodegas Fundador dates back to 1730, making it the oldest winery in the Marco de Jerez. In 1874, the first Spanish brandy was born in its facilities, laying the foundations of a unique tradition. Its distinctive character arises from aging through the Criaderas and Solera system, in American oak barrels previously envined with Jerez wines, which provide aromatic complexity and an unmistakable profile.

Currently, Bodegas Fundador is part of Emperador Distillers, the holding of the Tan family, world leader in brandy and one of the largest manufacturers of spirits. Under its umbrella, Fundador and other brands such as Terry, Harveys or Espléndido continue to consolidate their presence inside and outside Spain, reinforcing the heritage and prestige of Jerez viticulture.
