Enrique Tomás and Grupo Emperador allies in the project “ham, the flag that unites us”

A series of dialogues of opposite profiles around two of the great products of Spanish gastronomy.

The ham of Enrique Tomás and the fine wine of Harveys, a perfect pairing around which it is easier to dialogue. With this aim, the talks titled “ham, the flag that unites us” were born.

A video Podcast format audiovisual program promoted by the businessman from Badalona, Enrique Tomás, in collaboration with the Emperador group, owner of Bodegas Fundador and the Diagonal One Tower in Barcelona, a unique building in the world and one of the icons of Barcelona in whose auditorium the first chapter of the series was recorded. A chat between the general secretary of UGT, Pepe Álvarez, and the Catalan businessman and president of Audax Renovables and La Sirena, José Elías. Moderated by journalist Cristina Cubero and with Enrique Tomás, CEO and founder of the company, as a bridge between the guests. And in front of an audience of more than 200 people.

Two opposite profiles from an ideological point of view, but who can converse calmly and enrich each other if the meeting takes place around ham and Harveys fine wine from Jerez. Enrique Tomás, for his part, highlighted that this is an idea he has had in mind for many years. “We live in a country where we do not always agree and it is good to argue, but with respect. Sometimes we need to find those points that unite us, and one of them, without a doubt, is ham. Whether you are from Barça or Madrid, from PP or PSOE, Andalusian or Catalan, ham is our common flag, and this project is our way of bringing positions closer and building bridges through it.”
