The recognition reinforces the excellence of the winery and its global leadership

Jerez, May 30, 2025

The quality of Fundador brandies is consolidated as demonstrated by the awards recently obtained by the winery in the latest edition Late Tasting 2025 of the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC), one of the most prestigious and rigorous spirits competitions in the world, founded in 2000, where a jury of experts blind taste thousands of spirits, ensuring completely impartial results.

In this edition, Fundador and Terry have been recognized with three gold medals, reaffirming the quality and prestige of these Jerez houses and their role as international references of brandy.

The brandies awarded with a gold medal are:

  • FUNDADOR BRANDY TRIPLE MADERA SHERRY CASK: Score: 93
  • FUNDADOR SUPREMO 18 YEAR OLD OLOROSO SHERRY CASK: Score: 91
  • TERRY CENTENARIO: Score: 91

For Ángel Piña, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer of Grupo Emperador Spain and advisor to Pedro Domecq, these awards are a support to the constant work of the winery and its commitment to combine heritage and innovation:

“It’s great news for the winery and, without a doubt, a boost for brands like Fundador and Terry, both deeply rooted in historical legacy, but also an example of our commitment to innovation and adaptation to new consumers without losing quality”, Piña affirmed.

This recognition at the SFWSC further consolidates the position of Fundador and Terry in the world elite of spirits. Brands that, from the heart of the Jerez framework, continue to captivate palates around the world with their unmistakable commitment to authenticity and excellence.
