Fundador Wineries: recognized once again with the Travelers’ Choice® 2025 award from Tripadvisor

The wine tourism team at Fundador Wineries is celebrating: once again, their visit has been recognized with the award Travelers’ Choice® 2025 granted by the platform Tripadvisor®. This distinction is based exclusively on the real opinions and ratings of travelers and is only awarded to the top 10% of the highest rated profiles in the world.

The recognition confirms that the experience of visiting Fundador, the oldest winery in the Marco de Jerez, remains once again the “number one” plan in the “what to do in Jerez” category, a position achieved thanks to the numerous five-star reviews accumulated on Tripadvisor and Google. In addition, it positions Fundador Wineries among the best rated by travelers from all over the world, consolidating its firm commitment to excellence, tradition and careful attention to visitors.

Since 2002, the Travelers’ Choice® awards from Tripadvisor highlight the best experiences in the world based solely on the real ratings of millions of travelers. Unlike other awards in the tourism sector, they do not require registration fees or editorial filters: they are just the transparent reflection of the experience lived by real tourists. Opinions are collected over a 12-month period and only those activities that maintain outstanding consistency in their quality and attention to visitors are awarded.

For Eugenia Herrera, responsible for Enotourism at Bodegas Fundador, this recognition is the result of the work and affection of a team always committed to offering an enriching experience to the visitor. “The good reviews received are a stimulus for all of us who work at Bodegas Fundador and we strive every day to guarantee a quality visit to all those who choose us” says Herrera.

Bodegas Fundador hopes that this recognition will encourage travelers passing through Jerez to discover a historic winery full of century-old barrels, to tour its century-old gardens declared a Cultural Interest, to discover the Fundador Museum, where homage is paid to the 150 years of the first Spanish brandy. And to taste its products in the Casa Fundador restaurant, located inside the complex and where you can taste the best brandies and wines from the winery.

Bodegas Fundador, with almost 300 years, is the oldest winery in the Marco de Jerez, in operation since 1930. It is also the birthplace of Fundador, the first Spanish brandy, born in 1874.
