Casa Fundador extends the summer in Jerez with experiences, gastronomy, and wine in September

Nighttime visits to Bodegas Fundador, gastronomy, wines, special encounters, and some of the major events of the Harvest Festivals feature in the Casa Fundador program during the month of September.

The summer continues at Casa Fundador. During the month of September, the historic Bodegas Fundador in Jerez de la Frontera maintain a full program of experiences linked to wine, gastronomy, heritage, and leisure.

An agenda with which Fundador extends the spirit of summer nights and continues to contribute to the tourist, wine, and gastronomic projection of Jerez in a particularly significant year for the city, which in 2026 holds the title of Spanish Capital of Gastronomy.

Nighttime visits to Bodegas Fundador and dinners under the stars

Throughout September, on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:00 p.m., the nighttime visits to Bodegas Fundador will continue.

An opportunity to discover the history of Fundador, its winery heritage, and some of its most emblematic spaces at a time specially designed to enjoy the last afternoons of summer in Jerez.

The experience can be completed with a dinner under the stars at the Casa Fundador restaurant, extending the evening among gastronomy, wines, and the atmosphere of the Jerez nights.

This program continues the Summer Party held on September 4th on the terrace of Casa Fundador, a night of music and celebration that featured a live performance by the Sevillian group Asere.

Fundador’s wines, the stars of the Jerez Harvest Festivals

On September 10th, Fundador’s wines will be the stars of one of the wine events included in the program of the Jerez Harvest Festivals 2026.

The Alcázar of Jerez will host a Master Tasting of Fundador that will combine wine and gastronomy in one of the most unique historical sites in the city.

The session will be led by Alberto Pizarro, Brand Ambassador of Fundador, who will guide attendees through a selection of wines from the oldest winery in Jerez.

The experience will allow to know its history, uniqueness, and wine richness through different gastronomic harmonies, also highlighting the close relationship of Fundador with the culture of wine and with the history of Bodegas Fundador.

Fundador & Friends celebrates its last event of 2026

Gastronomy will once again play a starring role on September 24, with the last evening of the season of Fundador & Friends.

On this occasion, the guest chef will be Alejandro Alcántara, from the Beduino restaurant, whose proposal is based on the roots of Cadiz to reinterpret the product, tradition and local recipes from a contemporary and personal vision.

The experience will begin with a tour of the historic Bodegas Fundador and will continue with a pairing dinner at Casa Fundador, where Alejandro Alcántara’s cuisine will be combined with a careful selection of wines and brandies from Fundador.

Gastronomy, heritage and wine will thus meet again in a proposal designed to discover new harmonies and enjoy one of the most emblematic winery enclaves in Jerez.

Bodegas Fundador hosts a new edition of Magas

The program will continue on Friday, September 25 with a new edition of Magas, a meeting that will once again bring together women leaders and references from different fields at Bodegas Fundador.

The initiative recognizes the trajectory, talent and ability to pave the way of its protagonists and continues a collaboration that has already made the Fundador facilities a stage for various meetings dedicated to female leadership.

Fundador and Jerez Spanish Capital of Gastronomy 2026

The September agenda is framed in a particularly important year for Jerez. During 2026, the city holds the title of Spanish Capital of Gastronomy, an initiative in which Fundador maintains an active role in promoting the gastronomic, wine, cultural and tourist potential of the city.This work will also take the Jerez Brand outside of Andalusia. After the presentation held last July in Madrid, on September 15, Barcelona will host a new promotional action driven by the Jerez City Council again with the support of Fundador.

An opportunity to show outside of Andalusia some of the main attractions that make Jerez a unique destination: its gastronomy, its wines and brandies, its heritage, its culture and its particular way of understanding and enjoying life.With this programming, Fundador reinforces its commitment to Jerez, not only as one of its historical companies and one of its great winemaking references, but also as an ally of its tourist and gastronomic projection.

Bodegas Fundador: history and tradition in Jerez

The history of Bodegas Fundador dates back to 1730, making it the oldest winery in the Marco de Jerez. The first Spanish brandy was born in its facilities in 1874, giving rise to a tradition that continues alive through the Criaderas and Solera system.

Currently, Fundador is part of Emperador Distillers, a holding of the Tan family. Under its umbrella, Fundador and other brands such as Terry, Harveys or Espléndido continue to consolidate their presence inside and outside of Spain and reinforcing the heritage and prestige of the Jerez wine culture.
