Jerez de la Frontera, April 20, 2026

Fundador anticipates the Horse Fair with a proposal that combines music, gastronomy, and a festive atmosphere in the prelude to the big Jerez event. Under the slogan “If I get lost, look for me at Fundador”, the historic wineries will celebrate next Friday, April 24 a party that invites you to start the Fair before stepping on the albero. The appointment will be at Casa Fundador Restaurant (San Ildefonso Street, 3) starting at 5:00 p.m., in an afternoon that will combine live flamenco, party, gastronomy and the classic Fundador cocktails, with surprises throughout the event for attendees. On stage, the art will come from the young Jerez native Miguel Guerrero and the dance group Jaleo y Compás, in charge of setting the rhythm to the pre-fair. This party will also serve as a prelude to what Fundador has prepared for the Fair: a booth open to the public where, every day from 6:00 p.m., there will be live music, a gastronomic proposal designed to share, cocktails to refresh the atmosphere and, above all, a good atmosphere.Because if there’s one thing Fundador is clear about, it’s that the Fair is not explained, it’s lived. The appointment on April 24 invites you to do so before the party officially begins. The tickets can be purchased at Bodegas Fundador for 6 euros with a drink, through its website or on the same day of the event at the entrance itself.

Fundador, tradition and excellence

The history of Bodegas Fundador dates back to 1730, being the oldest winery in the Marco de Jerez. In its facilities, the first Spanish brandy was born in 1874, giving rise to a tradition that continues today thanks to the system of Criaderas and Solera. Currently, the brand is part of Emperador Distillers, the holding of the Tan family, a world leader in brandy and one of the largest manufacturers of spirits. Under its umbrella, Fundador and other brands like Terry, Harveys or Espléndido continue to consolidate their presence inside and outside of Spain, reinforcing the heritage and prestige of the Jerez wine industry.
