1730
The origin of our brand dates back to 1730 with the founding of Bodegas Fundador, the oldest winery in the Marco de Jerez.
Domecq
Its origins are closely linked to the Domecq surname, a French family that pioneered the winemaking industry. The most significant figure, Pedro Domecq Loustau, was the creator of Fundador, the first Spanish brandy, in 1874.

Alfonso XIII
The family’s relationship with the Spanish Royalty has left its mark on the winery through the signatures of H.M. King Ferdinand VII, H.M. King Alfonso XIII, H.M. Queen Victoria Eugenia, and Don Juan de Borbón.
