Brandy Fundador successfully concludes its participation in the IX Provincial Tourism Forum of Chiclana and the III Wine and Gastronomy Fair

The oldest winery in Jerez presents its wines and brandies to more than 200 professionals, including the best chefs in Spain.

Brandy Fundador was present this week at the IX Provincial Tourism Forum and the III Wine and Gastronomy Fair, held at the Palacio de Sancti Petri – Gran Meliá hotel in Chiclana. The professional meeting gathered more than 2,000 sector specialists and more than 400 brands from all over Spain.

Among the attendees were renowned chefs and Michelin-starred chefs, such as Andoni Luis Adúriz, Mario Sandoval, Andoni Josep ‘Pitu’ Roca, Aitor Arregui and Pablo Vicari, who participated in various forums and round tables where key issues such as the evolution of tourist destinations, the new demands and challenges of the sector, the importance of online reputation and the necessary professionalization were addressed.

Parallel to the lectures, the III Wine and Gastronomy Fair was held, a space in which Fundador participated with its brandies and wines, produced in the oldest winery in the Marco de Jerez, one of the most visited for its complete wine tourism offer.

During the event, Fundador offered tastings of the brand’s new proposals, led by the brand ambassador Macarena Martínez, among them the range of Fundador Sherry Cask Brandies, Fundador Supremo Sherry Cask Collection, as well as the range of Harveys Premium wines

On her part, Eugenia Herrera, Director of Wine Tourism at Bodegas Fundador and also present in Chiclana, highly valued the brand’s participation in the forum, which it has attended for the first time. “We have been able to confirm that it is a key appointment, a meeting that, over time, has consolidated and has allowed us to to present our new proposals to the professionals of Cadiz, make very interesting business contacts and above all, learn and keep up to date with the new trends, challenges and opportunities of a constantly changing sector” expressed at the end of the second day.
