Brandy Fundador has been actively present at the “AI for humanity dinner”. A dinner prior to the “Future Summit”, an important United Nations event held from September 22 to 23 in New York, which brings together a significant cast of world leaders to develop a new international consensus on technology and Artificial Intelligence in order to improve the present and safeguard the future.

The approximately 70 participants in the “AI for humanity dinner” tasted the flavor of the brandies from the supreme range (15 and 18 years) of Fundador, the first Spanish brandy. A prestigious brand that this year celebrates the 150th anniversary of its birth in its wineries in Jerez, the cradle of this unique category in the world that acquires its special nuances in barrels seasoned with Jerez wines.

The two hosts of the event, Carme Artigas, co-chair of the United Nations High-Level Advisory Body on Artificial Intelligence (AI) – and former Secretary of State for Digitization and Artificial Intelligence of Spain (2020 – 2023) – and James Manyika, Senior Vice President of Google-Alphabet and Chairman of Research, Technology and Society, thanked the support of Fundador brandy at this event and highlighted the importance of Spanish brands collaborating in international projects, privileged showcases where to expose the richness of Spain in different segments.

“To offer our brandy to Heads of State, Ministers, high-ranking United Nations officials, and representatives of the private sector and civil society from all over the world has been a privilege, a historic occasion for our brand which is marketed in more than 30 countries, with a special presence in Asia and America” expressed Ángel Piña, Global Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer of Grupo Emperador in Spain,owner of the brand and the wineries since 2015.

Angel Piña attended the dinner held at ZZ’S Club in New York along with Andrew Sinclair, CEO of González Byass in the US, and other representatives of the brand in America. During the event, Piña shared with the attendees the new project of Brandy Fundador, a legend with years of work behind it preserving traditions. And that currently is developing a new innovative image designed to adapt to new customers and ways of consumption.

Currently, Bodegas Fundador products are sold in more than 60 countries. The US, Philippines, USA, Mexico, Italy, and the UK are, along with Spain, the most important markets for Brandy Fundador and Italy among others.

The Summit of the Future is a United Nations event that brings together world leaders to forge a new international consensus in order to improve the present and safeguard the coming years.
