The awards confirm the international prestige of the wines produced at the Fundador Wineries in Jerez

Madrid, May 22, 2025

The quality of Harveys shines again on the international scene by achieving new recognitions for its wines produced at the Fundador Wineries in Jerez. In the latest edition of the prestigious British awards International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) 2025 —one of the oldest and most reputable competitions in the world of beverages— the brand has won three gold medals, all with 95 points, for its wines from the VORS (Very Old Rare Sherry) range. Treasures in whose barrels (Sherry Cask) the brandies of the Supremo range from Fundador age, the secret of their excellence. A new achievement consolidates Harveys as one of the great international references of the Marco de Jerez.

The awarded wines are:

  • Harveys 30 VORS Palo Cortado
  • Harveys 30 VORS Oloroso
  • Harveys 30 VORS Pedro Ximénez

The IWSC jury of experts, composed of sommeliers, oenologists, buyers and specialized journalists, has valued the exceptional quality of this range, composed of wines with more than 30 years of aging certified by the Regulatory Council of the Marco de Jerez. A process that gives the wines complexity, balance and a unique character. The distinction is even more significant considering that in this edition more than 7,000 wines from all over the world compete.

For Ángel Piña, Global Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer of Grupo Emperador in Spain, these gold medals are excellent news: “It is an award that consolidates Harveys as a world prestige brand and confirms our firm commitment to quality and respect for traditional methods of production at Fundador Wineries in Jerez.”
